...Are, hands down, one of the best things in the world. Desserts can instantly brighten my day, cool me down during the hot summer months, or add a beautiful finish to a dinner.
However, the amount of calories most delicious desserts harbor and the pain of working them off are, as we all know, definitely NOT as fun. So here I've compiled a list of 5 easy, healthy dessert recipes anyone can make. Incredibly scrumptious and refreshing but low in fat, these desserts can be eaten at anytime, without the looming shadow of packing on excessive pounds.

This is, hands down, one of the most beautiful desserts ever. I've made this several times, and it's been tremendously popular with everybody- especially the kids, who think I've 'put magic' in the cup. You can serve this as an elegant dessert after a dinner party, or pull this out of the fridge for a perfect cooling treat in the summer days. Either way, I guarantee your guests will be wowed and extremely impressed.
The best part though? It's low in calories, fat free, AND extremely easy to make. This is one recipe that you simply must try out.

Flan in a cup
Flan, the delicious, smooth, tender dessert, fit for five star french restaurants. Did you know that flan is actually surprisingly low in fat compared to most other pastries? Made with mainly eggs and milk and no excess oils or butter, flan is not only low in calories but healthy as well, and, you guessed it... Super easy to make!
Here's one of my favorite recipes ever- flan in a teacup. Not only does it look extremely classy and creative, it gives you the perfect servings so you don't accidentally overeat. Perfect for parties, guests, or while sitting down relaxing with a book and a cup of tea.

Cocoa Meringue
Light, airy, and crunchy, these melt-in-your-mouth cookies are oh so tasty! A combination of egg whites, natural cocoa powder, and superfine sugar, meringues are fat free and low in calories but still satisfies the urges for sweets. These are probably amongst the only cookies with no butter, no oils, and no grease required at all. You can serve these at any event, party, or even box them up and give them out as delicious gifts!
